Help when & how you need it

SmartSecurity.Support provides support for alarm & CCTV systems both remotely (via the telephone) and also ‘onsite’ via our network of engineers.

Telephone support

Many problems with alarm and CCTV systems can be solved remotely on the phone. We provide a telephone support service, where our support team talk you through how to fix your problem remotely. Most problems can be fixed within 20 minutes - at a cost of £29.

 

Engineer visit

More complex problems will require an engineer to visit your property to fix your alarm system. SmartSecurity.Support have a network of trained engineers across the UK - so simply let us know what your problem is, and we’ll make a diagnosis & send an appropriate engineer to fix it.

 

Call-out

A basic engineer call out visit is 30 minutes. This is enough time to fix basic problems (like resets / simple reprogramming). More time may be required for more complex issues.

Battery change

Alarm batteries should be changed at least every 4 years - otherwise they can affect (badly) the rest of your alarm system. Battery changes normally pretty quick - taking 20 mins or less.

Maintenance visit

We recommend alarm systems are checked by a trained engineer at least once every 2 years. Alarm maintenance visits should take 30 to 45 minutes to check everything over.

System upgrade

If you have an old wired alarm system, it’s very easy (and relatively cheap) to upgrade it to a new ‘smart security system’.
