Get ongoing security support

 

If you'd like ongoing support for your security system, SmartSecurity provide x3 different options :

  • Priority Support - remote telephone support - £39 per year

  • Engineer Maintenance & support - annual engineer visits, insurance compliance & priority telephone support - £99 to £139* per year

  • Pay-as-you-go - where you pay £29 per remote telephone support fix

Priority Support

Get priority telephone support, meaning that whenever you have a problem with your alarm we're here to help! Just give our technical team a call, we'll diagnose your problem & try to fix it remotely. If we can't, we'll organise an engineer visit.

N.B. engineer call outs are charged extra. Telephone support is available during normal working hours 9-5, Monday to Friday.

This is our value support package, and costs only £39 a year. 

Maintenance & support contract (inc insurance compliance)

Choose our full maintenance package if you're wanting annual engineer visits to check your system on a regular basis.

All our maintenance contracts include SSAIB certification, ensuring your alarm system will be fully insurance compliant, and also include priority telephone support too.

Our annual maintenance contracts for Bells-only systems cost between £99 to £139* per year + also require a one-off SSAIB certification cost of £86 (to do the relevant checks to ensure your system is installed to British Standards & provide you with signed-off paperwork).

*Extra sensor charge (over 8): costs assume the system is a 'standard-sized system' - i.e. with 8 or less sensors.  Systems with more sensors are charged at a higher fee (£3 per sensor above 8).

** Monitored alarms: maintenance contracts for monitored alarms require x2 checks a year - so cost more - although if you have a system connected to the internet we can do a remote check for one of the visits.

Pay-as-you-go

If you don't want to pay for ongoing support, then you can still contact us obviously (!), however your support request won't be prioritised (unlike our paying customers).

All telephone help desk support (i.e. fixes for your system over the phone) are charged at our Pay-as-you-go rate of £29 per fix.
